Designed for the life you share.

Sideby makes walking accessories through a contemporary lens. Minimal lines, distinct colours, and pieces that fit into what you wear every day.

Our name comes from “side by side”: the walks you take and the life you share with your dog. Studio reflects how we approach the collection, working through sketches, samples, colours, and materials to bring style and everyday use together.

We never saw a reason why functional gear had to look like outdoor hiking equipment, or why style should come at the expense of everyday use.

02 / The pivot

It happens mid-walk.

You’re hands-free, heading down a quiet street. Then a café terrace gets crowded, or another dog turns the corner. You want the lead in your hand, right now.

With a one-piece crossbody leash, that transition can be awkward. You take the strap off your body or gather the extra length into your hand.

We wanted a better way.

The mechanism.

We worked through sketches, sample iterations, and discussions with our manufacturer to develop the arrangement.

Unclip the dog-side lead from your hip. Clip its human-side hook to the nearby D-ring.

You now have a handle. The crossbody strap stays in place, and your dog remains attached at the other end.

No need to remove the whole setup or gather the body-worn section into your hand.

The edit.

Our collection brings together three pieces and three colours: Umber, Rouge, and Moss.

We chose the colours to work with everyday outfits, from cream knitwear and beige coats to blue denim, while complementing different dog coat colours.

The strap is flexible, with a matte finish, a subtle textured surface, and matching metal clips and rings. It feels comfortable in your hand and is easy to clean with water and mild soap. Because something you use every day should be easy to look after.
