The Cord is a waterproof hand-held leash for everyday walks. Plug the swivel into the nearest D-ring for a 125 cm reach. Plug it into the D-ring at the opposite end for a 70 cm close-control grip.

Made from easy-clean PVC webbing with an embossed tactile texture. Matte zinc-alloy hardware completes the understated finish.

The webbing is PVC-coated, so rain and muddy walks wipe straight off. When it needs more, hand wash it with mild soap and warm water, then dry it fully. In our 24-hour immersion test the complete leash was submerged, and a white glove showed no visible colour transfer.

We pulled the webbing in a lab until it gave way, to measure how strong the material is. It is a test of the webbing, not a weight limit for your dog.

What is The Cord?

A hand leash, 130 cm long. It gives a standard 125 cm reach and a short grip for 70 cm of close control. It has a 360° swivel hook and weighs 156 g.

Can I walk hands-free with The Cord?

Not on its own. Hands-free walking uses The Drift, which comes in the Dual Range and the Full Range. In both sets, The Cord is the hand leash.

Will it clip to my dog’s collar or harness?

Yes. The 360° swivel hook clips to a collar or a harness. The Line is the matching collar, in the same colours.

How does The Cord compare with the sets?

The Cord alone is the hand leash. The Dual Range adds The Drift for hands-free walking and up to 270 cm of reach. The Daily Range adds The Line collar. The Full Range has all three.

Is it waterproof, and how do I clean it?

The webbing is PVC-coated, so it is waterproof and wipes clean. The hook and D-rings are matte zinc alloy. Wipe it, or hand wash it with mild soap and warm water, then dry it fully. Do not machine wash it.
